I picked up this adorable hutch on the local classifieds. Can't wait to paint it a fresh creamy white. I wanted to give you a sneak peak. I think I am going to remove the metal mesh lattice in the doors.

Skinny Dirty Legs

This is the little thrift store table I told you about in my last post!

It was pretty dirty and dusty. At $10.00 I couldn't just leave it there.

I loved the tall skinny legs and all the detailing.



It has dovetail joints on the drawer.



I cleaned it really good with spray TSP.
I haven't ever used the spray. I loved it.
I then primed it with KILZ

I lined the drawer with scrapbook paper.
I bought a little crystal knob, but haven't put it on yet.

See the detailing on the legs. I am going to wax or antique the details
 so they really stand out.
Just got too excited to get the pics posted.



This may go in my daughters room, or maybe my dining room, or porch
or the master bedroom, or a bathroom............we will see.

4th of July Weekend Begins

Here are a few shots of my 4th of July Weekend decor

 More thrift store finds. Love the salt water taffy in red white & blue wrappers

(that I keep finding all over my House)

 Vintage blue bottles I have had for years. With little sparkler picks from the dollar store

 New banner this year. Couldn't resist

I LOVE decorating for the 4th. Here in Utah we keep our decor until after July 24th which is also a state holiday

 Cloche with a mini Americana Chair and tiny pillow

Have a great weekend. I will post photos of the front of my home this weekend. I am in my PJ's and don't want to run out there in front of the neighbors right now.

I bought a darling vintage desk yesterday for $10.00 at the thrift store. I can't wait to show you.
